What is the difference to a seam roller?

A wallpaper roller is used to press the entire surface of a strip of wallpaper smooth. A seam roller is a wallpaper roller or a wallpapering roller in a small version. Wallpapers and photomurals are usually glued together, panel by panel. This creates seams between the strips. To press these seams perfectly, you can roll over them with a seam roller. A seam roller is therefore a kind of precision wallpapering tool. With photo wallpaper, make sure that you use a seam roller made of soft rubber (e.g. PUR foam) with a smooth surface. This enables gentle pressing without damaging the surface of the photo wallpaper

Is there an alternative to a wallpapering roller?

An alternative tool to a wallpaper roller is a squeegee with a felt edge. We recommend a wooden squeegee with a width of approx. 25 cm. With narrower squeegees, the area for smoothing is too small. The edge used for smoothing should have a felt cover made of soft felt to gently smooth the photo wallpaper

What can you use to press on or smooth out non-woven wallpaper?

Non-woven wallpapers or non-woven photo wallpapers can be smoothed out with a wallpaper roller or a squeegee with a soft felt edge

How do I get bubbles out of wallpaper?

You can avoid bubbles when smoothing out wallpaper by using the right wallpapering tool. This is a wallpaper roller or a squeegee with a soft edge. Only use wallpaper rollers with a soft and smooth rubber for photo wallpaper. If you want to use a squeegee, it should have a width of 25 - 30 cm. There should be a soft felt on the edge for smoothing so that the surface of the wallpaper is treated as gently as possible

Can a wallpapering roller also be used for photo wallpaper?

A wallpapering roller can and should be used for photographic wallpaper. Make sure the wallpapering roller has a smooth and soft rubber roller so that the surface or print of the wallpaper remains undamaged. An alternative is smoothing with a wide squeegee (approx. 25 cm). The squeegee should have a soft felt edge so as not to damage the surface of the wallpaper when smoothing.
