Premium wallpaper roller I Wallpaper roller I Wallpaper press-on roller 17.5 cm

Product information "Premium wallpaper roller I Wallpaper roller I Wallpaper press-on roller 17.5 cm"

The premium XL wallpapering roll from Mako is made of soft foam with a smooth surface for smoothing photo wallpaper or non-woven wallpaper without creating bubbles. The roll is 17.5 cm wide and has a diameter of 6.5 cm. Wallpaper press-on rollers are wallpapering tools for painters. They are also known as wallpaper press-on rollers, wallpapering rollers, wallpaper rollers or wallpapering rollers. The same wallpapering tool is meant.
The high-quality wallpapering tool has an extra thick roller made of smooth and soft PUR foam. This allows you to press on your photo wallpaper or non-woven wallpaper perfectly without damaging the wallpaper or the printed image. The premium quality XL wallpaper roller has an ergonomic plastic handle and a sturdy galvanised bracket.
Note: Do not use a press-on spatula with hard edges for non-woven wallpapers. Use a wallpaper squeegee or a squeegee with a felt edge to prevent the wallpaper from being scratched or damaged. Small scratches can damage the printed image, especially with photomurals.
This wallpapering tool is particularly suitable for non-woven photomurals from Pixblick. You can use it for both self-adhesive photo wallpapers and photo wallpapers with paste application. It can also be used for other wallpapers made from other materials and films. The wallpaper roller allows you to work quickly and efficiently. You can apply the wallpaper to the wall without creating bubbles.
Tip: Always apply a strip of wallpaper from top to bottom. Paint from the inside to the outside using the wallpaper roller. If bubbles still form, you can remove the section of wallpaper and apply it again. This will usually work well on the second attempt.

When should you use a wallpaper roller?
For sensitive surfaces, such as photographic wallpaper, you should use a wallpaper roller instead of a wallpaper brush. This is made of soft foam with a smooth surface. Depending on the pressure, this enables optimum pressure to be applied to the wall without damaging the surface of the wallpaper.

Using a wallpapering roller
Using a wallpapering roller is not rocket science. As soon as the wall has been pasted (wall pasting technique), you can start applying the rolls. Position the wallpaper strip precisely. The wallpaper can then be smoothed out with a wallpaper roller - rather carefully at first. Always apply a strip from top to bottom. Peel off the backing material piece by piece and roll the wallpapering roller from the centre outwards. This will push the air outwards without trapping it. Work your way downwards, section by section. This will allow you to smooth out the wallpaper without any bubbles.

Rule 1: Always apply wallpaper strips from top to bottom.
Rule 2: Always move the wallpapering roller from the centre to the outside in sections. This removes any air bubbles.
Rule 3: Paste one strip at a time. Otherwise, the paste may dry too early.

Tip: Wallpapering is best done in pairs.

Tip: An alternative to a wallpaper roller is a squeegee with a felt edge, which you can also find in our online shop

Definition of wallpapering roll

A wallpapering roller is a wallpapering tool that is rolled over a wallpaper with a roll of soft and smooth material. It is used to smooth the wallpaper and attach it to the wall. Wallpapering rollers have a short handle and a roller made of soft material such as PUR foam or foam rubber. Wallpapering rollers are also called wallpaper rollers, wallpaper press-on rollers or wallpapering rollers. It is a standard tool for photo wallpaper so that the surface is smoothed as gently as possible. As an alternative to a wallpapering roller, a wide wooden squeegee with a felt edge can be used. What should you look out for when using a wallpaper roller?

There should be no dirt on the roll of a wallpaper roller. Check this before use. Dirt can cause damage when rolling on wallpaper or photo wallpaper. Small grains of sand in particular stick to the roller, which can damage the printed image of a photo wallpaper.
