The brushes are well suited for fine work with paste. You will not be able to reach the previous strip of wallpaper exactly with the paste roller, as there is a risk of paste getting onto the surface of the wallpaper. Here, you can use the brush to get much closer to the seam of the previous strip of wallpaper without getting paste on the surface of the strip.
Note: The brush set can also be used for painting work.
How can you get paste onto the previous wallpaper sheet?
A paste roller is too coarse a tool for this. It is suitable for applying paste to a large area. However, areas close to the seam of the previous wallpaper strip often remain uncovered. This means that the wallpaper does not adhere optimally at the seams.Pasting tip: To ensure that paste reaches the seams of the previous strip, you should always paste a little beyond the strip.
Even if you have pasted beyond the previous strip, you should still apply fresh paste close to the seams. To do this, you can use a simple flat brush and move it quickly along the seam. This will ensure that the next strip of wallpaper adheres well to the seams.
